Giving Access to Local Resources

To share a resource, set a link between the user and the resource; to do this, click on the Plus icon symbol to add an external user.

The Share Camera To External User screen is displayed. The first field corresponds to the user to whom you want to share the resource. Enter the email associated with the user. It is worth mentioning that this user can only be Camera User role type, otherwise an error message will be displayed indicating the above. Next press the Search icon. If found, the first and last name will be filled out automatically. In the same way, the tree view on the right will show all the cameras available to be shared.

In this way, you can give permissions to a user on a certain camera for example, allow live streaming but not PTZ. Make whatever combination necessary. Once the desired configuration is finished, just press Save. Changes to the user will be applied immediately.
